After earning his Bachelor’s of Arts at the University of Florida, Dr. Misael attended New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. He has achieved Diplomate status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, becoming one of only five dentists in North Carolina to receive such an honor. Dr. Misael annually lectures to East Carolina University’s dental school residents & engages them in a professional development course. He guides the graduates transitioning from school into the field of dentistry. In early 2017, ECU invited Dr. Misael to join their faculty as an adjunct professor.
