CEREC Arizona Trip

Recently our team traveled to the West Coast (Scottsdale, Arizona) for a continuing education course provided by CEREC.

CEREC stands for “Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics.” With this process Dr. Otero is able create a crown digitally in one appointment. This state-of-the-art CEREC system uses 3D photography and CAD/CAM technology allowing him to make a completely custom crown right here in our office. Even though we have been using this system for over two years in our office, the learning curve does not stop there. Our staff stays up to date on the latest techniques and applications to make sure we are producing the highest quality products for our patients.

During this course, our team not only had fun but learned new scanning methods and new shading processes for our crowns.
