A bridge is completed to replace a missing tooth. In most cases, a bridge is done in two visits. At the first visit the teeth on either side of the missing tooth will be prepared and an impression is taken. The impression is then sent to our lab and sent back to us to be fitted and cemented at the second visit.
In most cases, patients opt for a dental implant rather than a bridge due to less teeth being involved in the process. Implants are easier to keep clean and the tissue in the surrounding area is often kept healthier.
